Our brief is to increase living and sleeping provisions offering a more successful self contained ground floor family flat. The proposed solution consists of a single-storey extensions to the rear of the property including internal alterations.

 

An additional bedroom, utility and re-configured family bathroom are created by increasing the width of the existing ground floor outrigger. A large roof light above the bathroom will maximise natural daylight whilst maintaining a visual privacy. The height of the extension is stepped across the width of the rear elevation to balance the heights with both adjacent properties.
